The recent collaboration between European University (EU) and the International Labor Organization (ILO) has resulted in an important new, exclusive offering to the EU community- a 3 day Certificate Program in Sustainability Management. The program utilizes case studies, group discussions and faculty experience to give students the tools to incorporate sustainable business methods into various aspects of business operations. A combination of ILO in-house sustainability experts and visiting faculty will lead the program, which also includes a tour of the ILO headquarters in Geneva. At the end of the 3 day session students receive a completion certificate and invaluable experience to take forward to future employer.
Some of the discussion topics include:
- Integrating sustainability into the supply chain
- Leveraging sustainable methods as a competitive advantage
- Managing stakeholder relations
- Building supply chain partnerships
