October has been a month of welcoming students to European University, drinks in hand. In Barcelona, the annual Welcome Drink took place on Thursday, October 11 at Soho Club in Barcelona. Students arrived ready to dance as a glass of complementary cava awaited them at the door. Members of faculty and staff were there as well mingling with the students and showing off some impressive dance moves of their own. The same night that EU students were celebrating in Barcelona, EU students in Montreux were toasting their first semester at the famous Harry’s New York Bar in the fashionable Montreux town center.

Two nights later on October 13, Le Scandale in Geneva was where EU students converged as over 70 of them clinked glasses to the start of a new academic year at EU.

In just a few days, Friday, November 2 to be exact, EU Munich will be doing the same at their own welcome drink celebration to be held at Zum Franziskaner in the heart of downtown Munich.
